How it's made:
This is a medium sized rollerball pen that is made of yucca seed pods that were harvested between Marfa, TX and Fort Davis, TX. The seed pods were cleaned and cast in a bright yellow resin under high pressure in my shop. This pen has a hard durable finish which was polished by hand to provide depth and a glass like finish. The components are chrome plated with chrome accents. The closed pen measures 5 3/4” and will post on the end. This pen comes with a high quality German made Schmidt refill which provides an effortless writing experience. This writing instrument comes in a box ready for presentation. It will also have instructions on how to care for your new custom pen.
About your pen:
All of my rollerball style pens come with Schmidt ink refills which in my opinion provides one of the best writing experiences. You will also get your choice of black or blue ink and medium or fine point. All of my rollerball pens will also accept the popular Pilot G2 refill as well. All my pens are refillable and refills can be bought from either myself or stationary box stores. Meet the Maker
Hello, welcome to my shop. My name is Michael and I am from Lubbock, Texas. I am a father to 3 amazing boys and a husband to a beautiful wife. I am a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University and have deep roots in both Texas and New Mexico. There is no other place I would rather live than the Llano Estacado region of the United States.
In search of a hobby, I dabbled in woodworking in 2012 as an escape from my day to day full time job. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion. Now I just try and find time to do it between all the activities associated with family life. Woodworking gives me a creative outlet that allows me to focus on art and functional pieces.
I source materials from all over the world and use mediums such as wood, resins, and plastics. On occasion, I get to mix these mediums together in a piece.
I welcome special orders and I am always open to working with you in order to come up with that special "something."
